HI 83746 photometer for measuring residual sugar in wine is engineered with convenience and simplicity in mind. A refined interface minimizes the number of steps from sample preparation to analysis. Equipped with a specialized tungsten light source and a narrow band interference filter at 610 nm, this instrument provides immediate results that can facilitate decisions relating to harvest time as well as predicting alcohol potential during the fermentation process and determining total concentration of residual sugar in your final product. Use in combination with HI839800 reactor to streamline analysis of multiple samples. HI 83746 is supplied complete with 1000 µl pipette with 2 tips, 200 µl pipette, 4 cuvets, filter papers, cuvet cleaning cloths, 1 bottle color removal, funnel, 12 VDC power adapter, (4) 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual in a hard carrying case (see picture below).
